Recently taken over by the charming husband and wife combination of Sarah, who runs the front of house, and Ian Collarbone, the talented Head Chef working the kitchen, Marmalade’s Bistro offers returning diners with some tantalising new dishes and serves a plethora of palate pleasing options to all guests in general.
Now accepting the tastecard, members who call in advance can secure a fantastic discount on all dishes served, providing the ideal excuse to sample more than simply one course. With these savings in mind there’s little reason not to begin the experience with one of the sumptuous starters, such as the invigorating lime and basil marinated feta cheese salad, tossed with roasted vegetables and pine nuts, and the irresistible filo wrapped tiger prawns, paired with a sweet chilli dipping sauce.
Continue onto the main course, where delectable dishes await. Particularly merit worthy meals include the rich bouillabaisse, enriched with fresh herbs and saffron, the hearty four cheese roulade, complete with a white wine, spinach and mustard sauce, and the succulent sirloin steak, served with sautéed garlic mushrooms and hand cut chips.
