Kick things off with one of the scrumptious starters, such as the rich Amritsari Machili, spicy batter marinated sea bass sliced fried until golden, the delectable onion pakora, enriched with Bengal gram flour and spices, and the tantalising Chennai Chicken 65, deep fried spicy chicken paired with an onion salad.

A wealth of wondrous curry, biryani and tandoori dishes are available, catering equally to herbivorous and carnivorous diners. Traditionalists will adore dishes like the smooth korahi, available with chicken or lamb and prepared with coarsely crushed spices, and the exquisite Kashmeri Rogan Josh, cooked in a rich onion and tomato based sauce, while those looking for something a little different may be enticed by the likes of the invigorating chicken and pomegranate salad.

    Service was generally good, mocktails horribly overpriced.
    Drinks delayed because they had apparently run out of ice and sent someone to sainsburys to get more.
    Manager got a bit argumentative at the end because we wanted to take the service charge off to leave cash for our waiter. He kept on banging on about how it 'says in the terms and conditions on the website' that if you use the tastecard then service charge is compulsory. Sorry, but -by law- it isn't!
    After effectively arguing with me in front of my girlfriend for about 5 minutes, he appeared to back down, saying 'I dont want to argue with you', and relented - still believing he was right, though. Left a nasty taste... Overall ruined the experience.
    Shame that such a clueless individual with such a poor grasp of customer service skills has been put in charge of a restaurant. "
