Found on Trafalgar Street in Brighton, just a hop, skip and a jump away from Brighton Pier, The Lord Nelson is a charming pub and eatery that offers a warm welcome to all that enter.
People come in for the fabulous collection of cask ales and wines but they stay for the superb fare served, which is available to tastecard members at a superb discount when they call in advance with their card.
A combination of traditional British favourites and international delights adorn a menu that has been created by a passionate Head Chef and prepared using only the freshest of locally sourced ingredients. All of which is to be enjoyed in one of two areas within the complex – either the conventional dining room, or the more informal bar area, where a roaring fire and rustic feel helps to create an air of cosiness that is perfect for relaxation.
From starters that include such enticing dishes as the rich duck pate and a flavourful baked Camembert number, both with accompanying ciabatta, to a main course selection that incorporates everything from the scrumptious beer battered fish and chips and the glorious barbecue ribs, available as both a half rack and a full rack, the concise food choice is both divine and varied. Add in their selection of succulent burger options, and diners can visit in the knowledge that they will be hard pressed not to find an item to their liking.
Be it for a catch up with a close friend or a casual bite with the significant other, all are catered for at the Bar at the Lord Nelson.
Please note: The tastecard discount is unavailable in December.
