Begin the experience with one of the sublime starters, such as the invigorating Atlantic prawn, crayfish and avocado salad, drizzled with a Marie rose dressing, the rich Chef’s chicken liver pate, partnered with a Cumberland sauce, and the indulgent breaded duo of Camembert and Brie, accompanied with a red onion marmalade.
Catering equally to both carnivorous and herbivorous diners alike, the main menu features a plethora of palate pleasing dishes. Particularly merit worthy meals for the meat averse include the irresistible tempura vegetables Szechuan, paired with a timbale of rice and sweet chilli dipping sauce, and the wondrous mushroom, cranberry, hazelnut and Brie wellington, while those looking to sink their teeth into something meaty should certainly consider the opulent grilled rainbow trout fillets, adorned with toasted almonds and a lemon and parsley butter, and the succulent 8oz fillet, available with a delicious ‘surf and turf’ side of breaded king prawns and garlic butter.
