"The blackened windows make the restaurant seem forbidding, but venture inside and you will certainly be rewarded. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. When Sasha decided to try the Tripe stew she was told that if she didn't like it they would bring her something different.
She loved it. The food was typically Romanian; we could have been in Bucherest, a feeling enhanced by the Romanian TV playing in the background. Unlike Bucherest, however, I wasn't made to eat the Polenta (one type of Romanian food that I don't like) and was served mash with my Moldavian stew.
The Romanian doughnuts were even better than the ones I had in Bucherest! All in all an excellent meal, and with good service and nice big tables.
We would highly recommend this restaurant, John and Sasha.
