Welcome to Amurg restaurant, a lovely restaurant which is decorated to impress and where you are promised a superb dining experience.

Their Romanian dishes are excellent and are complimented extremely well by their selection of fantastic Romanian wines. You can also enjoy live Romanian music on both a Friday and Saturday night.

"Excellent food, really freshly prepared and clean tasting. Their mixed meat platter is the best grilled meat I have had in years and the polenta with sheep cheese good too. Service was friendly, unhurried and it makes a change to be served by somebody who actually seems to take pride in what they do! Parked outside, without a meter blimey! Peter   "

"This is a really good find. There were five of us and we felt welcome from the moment we stepped inside the door. The background music was at a really good pitch and meant that we were able to talk to one another comfortably. The menu was very interesting and we were given help with choosing on asking. There was plenty of choice and variety.. The food was very well presented and tasted great. The service was good and the setting clean and comfortable. The price was very good. I would highly recommend a visit. Marian   "

"Thought we would try something a little bit different. Parked right outside the restaurant that was nice, between the five of us we had 3 different starters and shared. Main course was very good. Staff friendly and we were not rushed good value at less than £100 for 5 including drinks Lee   "

"The blackened windows make the restaurant seem forbidding, but venture inside and you will certainly be rewarded. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. When Sasha decided to try the Tripe stew she was told that if she didn't like it they would bring her something different. She loved it. The food was typically Romanian; we could have been in Bucherest, a feeling enhanced by the Romanian TV playing in the background. Unlike Bucherest, however, I wasn't made to eat the Polenta (one type of Romanian food that I don't like) and was served mash with my Moldavian stew. The Romanian doughnuts were even better than the ones I had in Bucherest! All in all an excellent meal, and with good service and nice big tables. We would highly recommend this restaurant, John and Sasha. "

"  06.08.10 It was nice modern restaurant. Very kind staff, cheap meal though only half of main course. I had Maldiva stew and Hot starter my girlfriend had cabbage rap pork & aubergine starter. plus 3 beers cost me only 24pounds. It is bit different experience, I recommend you should try if you want to some Eastern European food.   Masa   "
