Le Jardin Cafe and Petit Bistro is situated in an enviable position in the centre of Harrogate, overlooking Montpellier Gardens and open for Lunches, Afternoon Tea and Evening Meals. They are a warm, friendly, family run cafe.
Le Jardin offers a down to earth, intimate venue offering a superb menu selection, and an excellent wine choice.
All food is traditional home cooked food which is of both excellent value and quality, made from locally sourced produce. A must to try is their home made quiche, fabulous fish pie and roast vegetable lasagne. Their homemade desserts are delicious and their secret family recipe ice-cream is becoming a legend in itself!
Phil and Melanie look forward to meeting and welcoming both visitors to Harrogate and new and old friends in Le Jardin.

I was staying in Harrogate for the weekend and looked up for tastecard restaurants and Le Jardin &Petit Bistro did the 241 on Saturday night, we did book in on sat afternoon when passing as it’s just near Betty’s. We went for the 9.95 set meal option I had battered mushroom blue cheese dressing/salad gorgeous 3 large mushrooms my sister had the Greek starter platter also a hit we ordered garlic bread as an extra 3 pieces of very garlicky bread yum yum. Mains we both went for the Fishermans pie I requested salad, not a problem, very enjoyable not a massive portion but all in good value. A large glass of wine was 4.55 a med 3.70.Think if I went with my husband he would have to have an extra side dish as well as mains, but thoroughly enjoyed the evening the atmosphere was buzzing the two girls serving could not be faulted very pleasant and helpful we will definitely be returning.

The overall experience was very good, the food was excellent value for money, for £9.95 we received 2 courses each with the 241, as this was one of few that offered a deal on a Saturday we thought we would give it a try, I'm so glad we did, the staff we so lovely and friendly, put you at ease from the moment you walked in and couldn't do enough to ensure you're stay was as good as can be, the environment was friendly and relaxed and the food was lovely, very good choice and catered for my vegetarian friend really well. We will definitely visit again.

What a great find, we were in Harrogate overnight and searched the tastecard website, glad we did. Good food, VERY reasonably priced, even before using the card, in a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere. Lovely staff. It is easy to see why it is popular with locals who streamed in at opening time!
