A relaxing modern hotel sat on Seafield Road in Aberdeen, just a stone’s throw away from the coast and a number of spectacular seaside views, the Palm Court Hotel makes for a wonderful setting in which to escape the city's hustle and bustle.
Be it for an overnight stay in one of their cosy bedrooms or a couple of hours of rest and recuperation in their fabulous bar and restaurant area, all who enter are offered a warm welcome.
An identical invitation is extended to tastecard members, who are able to partake in all of the sumptuous Scottish fare found on the a la carte menu at the on-site Bothy Restaurant at a fantastic price, providing they call in advance and produce their card upon request of the bill – giving diners the perfect excuse to indulge in an extra course or two.
This notion becomes even more apparent when perusing the starters selection that includes a glorious seared Scottish king scallop, black pudding and tattie scone combo and a rich chicken liver pate, paired with a brioche. These are joined on the menu by a divine list of desserts, where a heavenly chocolate and salted caramel tart sits alongside a delectable bread and butter pudding to make for a stylish conclusion to any feast.
Sandwiched in between, the collection of mouth-watering main courses is just as sumptuous and serves to meet the needs of any appetite. Particularly enticing examples of such can be seen in the heart-warming Bothy steak pie, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, the old British favourite that is the beer battered North Sea haddock, chips and peas, and the delectable roast pumpkin lasagne.
Be it for an intimate repast with that special someone, a catch up with a close friend, or merely a stop off spot amidst a day of activity, all are catered for at the Bothy Restaurant at the Palm Court Hotel.
