Kick things off with one of the sublime starters, such as the rich goat’s cheese filo, finished with rocket leaves, the scrumptious breaded haggis balls, paired with creamed mash and a whiskey sauce, and the delectable salmon gravelax, matched with a cream cheese salad.
Equally as exemplary are the main courses, which cater well to all tastes. Outstanding selections include the hearty stuffed breast of chicken, partnered with root vegetables and confit potato, the sumptuous beetroot and Ricotta tortellini, complete with woodland mushrooms and a truffle oil, and the wondrous smoked haddock fishcake, served with spinach and a soft poached egg.
