Found amongst the natural beauty of Hankley Common is the delightful Three Horseshoes.
A public house that’s been welcoming guests and locals of the area with open arms for years, having been saved by the local villagers themselves when it almost closed down for good, The Three Horseshoes also plays hosts to an enchanting restaurant area.
Now accepting the tastecard, members who call in advance with their cards can enjoy superb discounts off everything from the extensive a la carte menu when they call in advance with their card, begging the question as to why guests wouldn’t indulge in something extra with the savings.
Spearheaded by Head Chef Simon Gosley, the menu is awash with dishes made with locally sourced produce, ensuring a fresh taste with each bite. This can be experienced immediately with the exemplary appetisers, which include the licks of the irresistible pan fried scallops, complete with crispy black pudding and a pea puree, and the rich goats cheese mousse, finished with toasted pistachios and a beetroot and apple jelly.
