Named after the Spanish terms for ‘bread and oil’, Pan and Oli’s inspiration for the simple name stretches to the food offerings, presenting a medley of mouth-watering small dishes that are quaint yet of high quality in an environment that’s no frills yet utterly fantastic.
The myriad choices serve all manners of tastes, whether guests lean more towards carnivorous tastes or are adamantly herbivorous. The former can sample such delectable dishes as the rich pan fried scallops, adorned with a red onion puree, chorizo and a cured Manchego foam, the juicy pork belly, partnered with potatoes and horseradish parmentier, and the irresistible chicken Moruno, grilled with roasted new potatoes.
The latter, less meat enthusiastic diners can still select plenty of options that’ll surely excite the palate, like the flavoursome asparagus and zanahoria, tri-coloured carrots and asparagus drizzled with a honey and romesco sauce, the refreshing beetroot salad, tossed with Blue cheese and a walnut vinaigrette, and the classic patatas bravas, golden fried potatoes served in a spicy tomato sauce.
