A charming little pub and restaurant that can be found on Finkle Street in the North Yorkshire market town of Thirsk, Little 3 makes for a delightful spot in which to while away an hour or two.
People visit for the fine selection of drinks, but they stay for the delightful Tex-Mex food, which is to be enjoyed by tastecard members at a superb price, provided they call in advance and produce their card upon arrival.
Beginning with one of the scrumptious small plates, where a range of nacho and taco options can be found alongside a variety of nibbles that include a flavoursome Tex-Mex style garlic bread, complete with a cheese sauce and tortilla shards, and a tantalising collection of Cajun battered king prawns, diners are sure to find their taste buds sufficiently excited for what’s to come.
Next up, the larger plates available at Little 3 leave very little to desired, with a number of steak, rib, wing and burger choices working with a host of Mexican favourites on a menu fit to cater for all tastes. Particularly mouth-watering examples of such can be seen in the flavoursome enchiladas, tortillas filled with beef, chicken or vegetables and topped with salsa, guacamole & cheese, the glorious Texas barbecue pork belly, paired with mini jacket potatoes, and a divine rack of ribs, adorned with either Jack Daniel’s barbecue or a chipotle chilli sauce and accompanied by a coleslaw.
Considering the superb savings, visitors are encouraged to conclude the feast in style with one of the exquisite desserts, such as the heart-warming apple pie a la mode or the rich and sweet chocolate brownie, before dipping into the pocket in the enjoyment of a tipple or two from the well-stocked bar.
