Tucked under the Millennium Bridge with outstanding Thameside views Northbank is a relaxed, friendly, stylish restaurant and bar created by owner Christian Butler (ex-Adam Street and Baltic) which opened to rave reviews in September 2007…
'Good food and a great view across the Thames' - Fay Maschler, The Evening Standard
Head Chef Jason Marchant is passionate about sourcing fresh ingredients for his excellent Modern British menu with a Cornish influence (loyal to owner Christian's West Country origins). Typical dishes include Pot Roasted Chicken with Cornish Mead, Rump of Cornish Lamb with Sauteed Kidneys and Camel Valley Sparkling Jelly and Ice Cream to finish. Expect a glorious selection of wines many of which are served in carafes changing with the seasonal menu. Indulge in the eclectic New York style cocktails, Cornish Ales, West Country ciders and classic mead alongside the house champagne Joseph Perrier.
Just a short walk from St Paul’s, Northbank’s terrace offers spectacular views across the Thames from the Millennium Bridge to the right and Tate Modern and The Globe directly opposite. Perfect for sundowners and we would highly recommend the large, comfy booths for a relaxed lunch or dinner.
Northbank looks forward to welcoming you soon.
