The Palmer Arms is a country pub and restaurant in the conservation village of Dorney.
Chrys and Hanna Fisher took over The Palmer Arms in February 2009 with an aim to serve serious, unpretentious food with great service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They are passionate about creating a welcoming environment whether you are out for a quiet drink, business lunch or dining with family and friends.
Their menus are based around classic British food and they change them regularly so they can offer the freshest seasonal ingredients. They offer a lighter lunch menu with a selection of hot and cold sandwiches and a more formal a la carte menu.
The Palmer Favourites' menu is a selection of traditional pub meals, available any time of day and remains the same all year round. These meals are also offered as half portions for children. They are family friendly and have four young children ourselves. Their large garden is a great place to eat on a warm day and they have just added a children's play area.
Being a standalone business they try, wherever possible, to support other local businesses and source local ingredients. An example being their Ice cream, which is all homemade at Hitchams' Farm, just 2 miles away and their asparagus comes from Dorney Court Estate.
They have created a bespoke wine list offering many wines by the glass and serve a variety of draught beers and real ales.
They are open every day of the year for food and drink and hope to see you soon.
Please Note: The tastecard is not available on Sunday’s due to a separate menu being served on this day. Bookings cannot be made for the outdoor tables.
