The Cardamom was established in July 2003. Since it’s opening, the restaurant has become very popular. The Cardamom went on to win the South Wales Echo; Indian restaurant of the year Award, shortly followed by The British Curry Awards Top 100: Best Indian Restaurant in the U.K. It also featured in The Top 10 Welsh Curry Houses of The Year Awards and has previously been recommended by The Guardian Newspaper.
The restaurant’s success lies in the strength of the food and service. A very talented young chef, Askir Miah works at the helm of The Cardomom. The knowledge that Askir brings from his experience with some of the top Indian chef's in and around the London, helps him to create a delicious and inventive menu.
The Restaurant Manager, Alais Miah, has been passionate about food since leaving school and is experienced and committed to working, managing and running Indian restaurants.
