This delightful venue in the heart of Bradford is the only Russian restaurant in the county.
The spacious dining room in The Russian Restaurant is cosy and scattered with candles, illuminating rich red decor and intimate carved wood booths.
Restaurant owner, Vlad Yamin explains how people get a genuine taste of Russia when they come to the restaurant, ‘the food, the vodka, the music the atmosphere.’
Homemade soups include the famous Russian dish Solyanka, a thick and spicy meat soup, made with six different kinds of smoked meat, sausages and gherkins. All the dishes have regional roots but all have become popular across the former Soviet Union.
The restaurant also performs some quirky twists to pay homage to its Yorkshire location. With dishes such as Yorkie Stroganoff; Yorkshire puddings filled with beef, chicken or mushroom stroganoff and topped with melted cheese,
The restaurant is hugely popular and began in the back room of The Peel Pub in Bradford’s Richmond Road, before moving to the larger location it now occupies on Manor Row, providing diners a wonderfully friendly, tasty and off beat dining experience.
Please note: The Russian Restaurant is not open on Mondays.
