*** 50% OFF TOTAL FOOD BILL AVAILABLE MONDAY - SUNDAY***  Please note: Little Sicily is now open 12 - 8 on a Sunday.

Little Sicily is a fabulous Italian restaurant in the heart of West London.

The essence of Italian cooking is simplicity, and the Chefs at Little Sicily understand this.

Dishes are created using only the freshest seasonal ingredients, while basic cooking techniques simply enhance the natural flavour of the food.

The meals look beautiful too; overflowing with the vibrant colours of each season's bounty.

Because Italian food is so heavily based on fresh produce, specials at the restaurant often vary with the seasons, making for a diverse menu.

A tempting array of premium meat and pasta enhances the produce and these tasty combinations make their way from the kitchen into the restaurant.

With a cosy interior and welcoming staff, Little Sicily is a delight not to be missed.

I had some old school friends down and decided to take them here using my tastecard!

The staff were nice and the alcohol too but the food wasn't great. It was edible but just not really up to scratch. The pasta tasted dried rather than fresh which I would expect and the chicken in the pasta was all a similar shape and definitely out of a packet.

To be honest it was overpriced so the saving wasn't all that great. However, it didn’t spoil our day out and it filled us up! "

" Been on there yesterday (Good Friday) and was expecting a tiny restaurant but it turned out as a big one with great ambiance and friendly staffs. The food arrived quickly and the food quality is very authentic of Italian cuisine. They're also very at ease with their tastecard holder costumers as they don't have to inspect your card. All they did is to see the card on our table and automatically took the 50% off our bill. "

Went to Little Sicily after theatre last weekend late afternoon. All we wanted was something to pad our stomachs but what we got was really rather tasty.

I started with the Antipasto - a quality selection of Italian salumi; e.g. parma ham, salmi and cheese. Tasty but no doubt something that anyone could make - the Stuffed pepper was darn good - baked with mozzarella and salami. For the main I had the crab linguine - really good!!! for what it was - a simple seafood pasta dish - best in London. Being a glutton I had the profiteroles and the tiramisu - if they weren't homemade they certainly tasted the part - particularly the profiteroles. Darn good again. Staffs were great too - best of all they - and the flamboyant kitchen staff - were all speaking Italian with rugged Sicilian accents... Got to be kind of authentic! "

I have been to Little Sicily a couple of times in the past year and while I was pleasantly surprised when I first visited over a year ago, I must say that my latest experience has been extremely disappointing and I will definitely not come back.

To pay full price for the food that they are now serving, would be extortion, but am sorry to say that even with a 50% discount the ratio price/quality is extremely low.

I have ordered "gamberoni" for starter, that were nothing more than 4 small frozen prawns chucked in a bowl of tomato sauce. My seafood linguini was no tastier than what you would get in a cheap microwave meal, a friend took some Lasagne that was completely tasteless and the service was very poor.

Best avoided. "

" Unreasonable prices for such small plates of terrible Italian food, or what they try to sell as Italian food. Honestly, since when we put chicken breast on top of spaghetti?? Almost all the pasta's are with steaks or meat on top, besides food is cheap quality one and served cold. We went there by hanging around in the city centre and despite we've booked a table, once arrived no reservation was made. Sincerely one of the worst, cheap, fake places I've ever been in London. Flat service and service charge - for nothing - is 12,5%. Definitely isn’t worth the price. "

Paul said "Avoid, unless you like microwaved food!
My wife and I were showing China Town on Saturday 12/01/2013 to 4 four of our visiting friends and decided to grab some dinner nearby. I used the tastecard app on my phone which said the nearest restaurant that accepted the card for a group of 6 on a Saturday was Little Sicily.

So I called ahead to see if they would take us and they said no problem, they could have a table ready for us in 30 minutes.

The restaurant itself was bustling and quite full and we were seated in one of the booths. After that we were left to our own devices for about 15 minutes. Eventually the waiter came over and took our drinks and food order at the same time.

The drinks arrived within a few minutes (7 mins tops) but even more surprising was that our food arrived at the same time! We had ordered 2 lasagnes, 2 salmon pasta dishes; a duck comfit and 1 other pasta dish and they all arrived in 7 minutes!

Needless to say, we soon found out why the food service was so fast. I cut into my lasagne and it was ice cold. Not room temperature, but ice cold! The other lasagne was the same as was the duck comfit. The salmon pasta looked anaemic and as if had been made from a packet mixture, hardly edible!

I called our waiter over to voice our concerns to which he profusely apologised and stated "The chef must not have left it in the microwave for long enough". The microwave?! This is a £17 lasagne (50% off so £8 with tastecard), I would at the very least expected it to be prepared fresh and baked in an oven! The manager didn't even bother to come over and apologise!

After our food came back "properly warmed in the microwave", we ate what we could (Most of the salmon pasta was left behind), finished our drinks and got out of there as fast as possible. We all agreed that we could have saved a lot of money and had better Italian food if we just got a ready meal from M&S!

I felt so embarrassed to take our friends there and we are never going back! "

My partner and I were shopping in London and looking for a local Italian to have some dinner. I have a tastecard so used the app to find somewhere that accepted it close by. Little Sicily came up as an option and since it was round the corner it seemed a good choice. WRONG!

We walked in and the bar area looked nice but we were taken round the corner where the tables were positioned close together and there was zero ambience. My partner ordered a Corona, but the waitress came back a few minutes later to say there was none left. I had a glass of house rose, which although drinkable was overpriced at £7 for a small glass. Our waitress was lacking personality and didn't seem interested in us when she took our order. We chose calamari and garlic bread which came about 10 minutes later. For £8 the Calamari portion was small and the garlic bread was two very tiny slices that were dry, and tasteless. The frozen stuff I have at home is 10x better which is worrying. For mains my partner ordered confit duck which looked and tasted like it came from a can. His 'sautee'd' potatoes were 3 half new potatoes boiled to death and there was nothing else on the plate to fill him. I had the pollo alla milanese which when it came was a very dry, piece of breaded chicken with the smallest portion of spaghetti with the blandest tomato sauce of all time! How could this be worth £18.75?! Luckily with the tastecard it would be 50% off, but I didn't even want to pay that! It was by far the worst main I have ever had in London. I know it's the theatre district but for that price I expected so much more.

When the waitress took my plate I explained how disappointed I was and her response was I should have told her so she could exchange it. This didn't happen because at no point did anyone come to check how our meals were or even so much as look at us! The gentleman on the table next to us at the same time sent his starter back as it was cold and asked to change his main as he had ordered the same as me.

The bill came and they added 12.5% service charge on without asking so I had rubbish food and was then expected to pay another £7 for the pleasure?! I refused to pay this and even with the tastecard discount being removed, the bill was nearly £40 for two people who ate poor quality food.

Avoid this place all together! "

Went for dinner with Fiancé and friends and was quite disappointed.

Good things:
Staff are friendly
Venue is lovely

Bad things:
The venue is quite big & was fairly empty, but we were seated in a corner on the first floor in a room with dodgy seats.
The menu is quite expensive for the quality of food that is served. It’s just average cafe food.

I would not recommend this to anyone. 3 x starters, 3 x mains + 1 x bottle of wine = £76.12, with 50% food discount. "

Have visited Little Sicily on several occasions when we have come up to London from Kent and have ALWAYS had the most fabulous welcome and meal. To be honest we have been to a couple of other restaurants but none have come up to scratch to Little Sicily. You can always be sure of a very warm welcome, with a great menu. The only problem with this is that it's not easy to decide what you want to eat!! Do PLEASE give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed. "

I must say after reading all the positive reviews of this restaurant I was looking forward to dining there with my friends. We have booked for Monday which wasn't difficult with tastecard. On arrival restaurant was already buzzing which created a very good first impression. We got given lovely table for 6 despite only 4 of us arriving. We were never offered a wine and drinks menu as apparently they only serve house white and house red...The food menu was rather pricey for an average Italian restaurant. Personally I would have never chosen that place if not for tastecard... Simply because very similar menu offers Zizzi or Spaghetti House but for half the price!!! Service was friendly but lacked personality maybe because our waitresses English wasn't fluent and she kept saying 'what?' every time she didn't hear what any of us was saying...anyway. My choice of swordfish in spicy sauce was rather disappointing. Fish lacked flavour and as Sicilian specialty definitely wasn't worth £21!!! My friends main course choices was slightly better as they went for pasta and chicken dishes. Final bill was a bit annoying as they applied service charge on a bill before deducting the 50% off food...Cheeky!!!

Overall not a horrible experience but also nothing exceptional to remember either. "

The booth style of seating created a relaxing ambience. On the evening we visited, they only had about 20% of their wine list available. Food portions small. Bill still worked out at £30 per head even with 50% off the food bill - seemed expensive for a shared bread starter, main course and a coffee. "

"Had a dinner here for 2 on a Saturday evening. Was easy to find and the staff were really nice. We had a delightful 3 course meal (though slightly disappointed they had run out of the Carpaccio by 7.30pm), 2 bottles of wine and still only came to £80. Good value, staff were really nice and helpful -and I love that you automatically get a glass of water and this is topped up throughout the meal. Worth a visit. Suzanne "

"It was a lovely restaurant, great location for the theatre and good service. Portions were a good size and the tastecard was welcomed (with the a la carte menu). Four of us had a starter and main course each with a bottle of wine to share, bread and side salad and with the inclusive service and tastecard it was only 18 GBP per head. Great value! Anna   "

"Visited on a Monday night for my mum's birthday, and we really enjoyed it.  The food was tasty and good value (with the discount), and the service was fantastic - they even prepared my home-made birthday cake with candles and plates, had no problem with us eating it in the restaurant, and even helped sing happy birthday!  Not sure it would be the same on a Friday, but we were impressed none-the-less.
