The Gray Ox is a Gastro Pub which dates back to 1709. The venue has a commanding position overlooking Brighouse, Huddersfield and the surrounding countryside.
Originally a farm house and ale house, locals would frequent the Gray Ox, jug in hand, and were served from barrels which were once positioned by the door on the left of the bar.
Today you’ll see many of the original features, which have travelled so well in time, sitting alongside the tasteful, more recent decor additions, still allowing the pub to retain a country inn atmosphere from bygone days.
The chefs focus on using local produce and delicacies to produce the most stunning cuisine based on British classics with a twist.
At The Gray Ox, customers will be equally happy spending a couple of hours over a meal as just dropping in for a quick pint.
Please Note: Sunday’s are excluded due to a separate Sunday Lunch Menu being served on this day
