" We arrived and asked for a few highchairs as there were 4 babies with us. We got a shrug from the waitress and a ' I'll try and find one, but I doubt we have any,s o though' attitude.

It took her 10 minutes after we sat down to come and ask us for drinks, then another 10 minutes for those to arrive. 15 minutes later she came to get our food order... We were then told that they were only serving sandwiches... Not a great start.
The sandwiches were bland, the fish fingers and chips were greasy and the soup was bland.
It took over 45 minutes for the food to arrive, now considering these are sandwiches, I don't understand why that took so long.

It took them probably another 30 minutes after we finished to get our desserts, which took another 30 minutes to arrive... Again, I wonder why it took so long to put a brownie on a plate with some ice cream next to it.

The supervisor took over from the waitress to take the bill and even she must have known ho bad the service was; she offered to take the service charge off.

When we asked to split, we were told it wasn't possible to do a 3 way split on a credit card as she would have to redo the whole bill and try and put the same amount food on each part....
I've never ever heard of something that strange where you can't just pay one bill across more than 1 card.

We will not be going again and I would seriously encourage people not to bother. Especially when you have kids, they are very child unfriendly !

If it wasn't for the Tastecard this restaurant would have been a serious rip off too. They charge 8 pounds for a cheese plate which had 3 small pieces of cheese on, 2 celery sticks and 5 crackers with about 10 grapes. "
