Zizzi restaurants are run the Italian way - passionate and homely with a little flair. Each one's a bit different in character, architecture, age and feel. At Zizzi, they are passionate about their food. They take great pride in what comes in and out of their kitchens. It starts with the ingredients - always simple and well prepared. They only use Arborio rice (named after the town in the Po valley region where it's grown) for risotto because they've yet to find a creamier one.
There's nothing complicated about the approach Zizzi take, they love simple Italian cookery and believe that you can taste when someone loves what they do.

" My wife and I enjoyed our first visit on Wednesday 17th October 2012. As it was early evening (5.15pm) there was plenty of room and no difficulty in choosing a suitable table. Very pleasant ambience, quietly efficient staff, well presented food which was cooked to perfection. We will visit again, probably on a different day/time to see if the service and quality is standard. Footnote: I misplaced my reading spectacles and 'phoned the restaurant later in the evening to enquire if they were there. Adrian went to the trouble of checking - very calmly - and also took my contact number in the event that the specs turned up. I was so impressed with his courtesy that I felt obliged to 'phone him later to let him know that the specs had been located elsewhere.
