Good starters and desserts, some of which are more interesting than the usual desserts on offer. Had a delicious panna cotta there last night. Always busy and lots of Italians in there which must be a good sign.
Only bad thing are the toilets that certainly need upgrading or a good clean. One of the taps is still not working months on from our last visit. "

"The best Italian food in London, by far! And the most pleasant and friendly staff too. The seafood casserole is heavenly, as are all the different pizzas. Staff are all knowledgeable about every dish and all ingredients. And the ingredients.... From mozzarella to the rocket are all mouth-wateringly fresh!
The environment is beautiful, with huge windows to look out. If you're around Leicester Square but don't want to feel you're there (or pay high prices), Sartori is the answer.

The food was amazing, the portions were HUGE and we had trouble finishing the main course. We cannot fault this restaurant and would definitely go again (but ask for smaller portions). The food is great, portions are more than generous and the service is great. With the taste card you will have a night out for a bargain.
Completely agree with previous comments -yes it's close to Leicester Square but you won't notice it at all. Try to get a table upstairs though as downstairs is a bit of a basement area.

My swordfish was also cooked perfectly and sizeable. My friends had the seafood "casserole", a wonderful concoction of fruits de mer, sensibly accompanied by large fingerbowls and plates for the debris. The wine list has a good selection of Italian wines, with prices from around £14 - good value for a restaurant in the heart of the West End. I would recommend Sartori highly, even without the tastecard.

"This restaurant was absolutely amazing! I went last night with friends from the States and we all thought the food was great! The staff was extremely friendly and gave us free limoncello at the end of the meal.
We had the antipasto misto - great starter, as well as the breaded smoked mozzarella with aubergines.
I had the pappardelle alla bolongese - DELICIOUS! I am going back there soon because it was such a great restaurant and the best Italian food I have had in London (and I come from an Italian family!!)
