Situated just yards away from the high street, Arlingtons is a buzzing brasserie style restaurant with a café bar set within the fascinating building converted from the Arlingtons Ballroom and before that, the original Ipswich Museum founded in 1847 and made famous by the presidency of Professor John Henslow, who had been Charles Darwin's mentor at Cambridge University.
It is the perfect venue to catch up with friends, talk business, celebrate special occasions or take the family out for a treat.
Arlington’s are open every day and offer a French style menu, available Mon-Sat from 12pm until 3pm and 5pm to 9.30pm and Sunday from 12pm until 5pm, which is served in a typical informal Brasserie manner, offering in addition to daily specials, a large selection of freshly prepared Suffolk reared meat dishes and vegetarian choices as well as fish & shellfish from sustainable sources.
Please note: the tastecard discount is available in the restaurant, and not the café downstairs.
