Whilst you relax ordering cocktails and food, you will notice flashes of Cerise on the wallpaper and superb music, lighting and people all contributing to the atmosphere. Cerise accommodates relaxed and informal dining and has two private alcoves, perfect for that romantic tête à tête or private party.
The produce is sourced from all over the UK, from the Outer Hebrides to Brixham. Interestingly, the majority of their hand-picked suppliers come from within a 40 mile radius of Reading.
In the summer, you can eat in their secret garden under the shade of a pomegranate tree. A beautiful waterfall feature, clever lighting and outdoor heating make this a versatile space.
Please note: Cerise are happy to take bookings for both Lunch (12pm-2pm) & Dinner (7pm -10pm). The discount is not available on Valentine’s Day.

" We would never have found Cerise without a 'tastecard' search, as although it is close to the town centre it is located in the basement of a hotel a little off the beaten track. The atmosphere was good, with a bar nearby adding to it without being intrusive to diners, and the décor being unusual and comfortable, with diners well spaced-apart. The food was quite simple in style but the quality was uniformly superb and the portions very generous. The service was helpful and friendly. All in all we were extremely impressed and enjoyed our best dining out experience for quite some while.

We had a lovely meal here. The food was excellent and the service was good - although perhaps they asked if everything was okay once or twice too often! The prices are quite high so I'm not sure I'd go without the tastecard, but with the discount, it also made it good value.

"We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here last night and it was lovely. The food was delicious and their house champagne was really nice and very reasonably priced. Getting 50% this standard of food and service almost seems wrong!
I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

"Absolutely stunning restaurant, with the best team to look after you. I actually sent my mum there for afternoon tea for her birthday and Cerise had organised a private table for her. I went there on a Sunday and it was beautiful. Everyone is attentive, always smiling and not rude at all. I will be back soon. A little gem in Reading, which really makes you feel special!
