JEFF said "SUPER STEAKS!
I have visited with my partner several times. The "steak on a hot stone" is a great idea, you just keep turning the steak over until it is done perfectly to your liking - rare, medium or well done. A brilliantly simple idea! And the steaks are always of very good quality, moist and tasty. The addition of 3 dipping sauces adds extra flavour and interest. Maxine is always a very friendly and attentive host. The ambience is enhanced by the walls being covered by colourful pictures of film, TV and music stars done by a local artist. Well worth a visit if you are in North Bristol. "

Maxine and Les work very hard to give a personal service and prepare home cooked food; all freshly prepared they even grow some of the veg themselves and have their own chickens.

The steaks are amazing as is the peppercorn sauce. Log fires set the scene. "
