Hazlewood Castle has been in the family estate of the Vavasours since Norman times and was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086.
Restaurant Vavasour is the highly acclaimed restaurant run under the direction of Head Chef, Tim Hamer, who provides seasonal dishes both traditional and modern. The menu boasts dishes ranging from Moules Frites and Tagine with Couscous, to the ever-popular Hazlewood Battered Cod with Chunky Chips.
The interior boasts a light and airy feel to it complete with slate floors and windows surrounding the dining room, offering stunning views of the castle ground. There is also a beautiful patio area immediately outside Anise where you are welcome to sit and enjoy the gardens - even if it's a bit chilly it's a lovely place to take time out.
