    Went last night for a celebration 50th wedding anniversary meal with relatives 14 in all.The first thing I noticed was the dirty carpet in the restaurant and bar area.My husband and I sat down with drinks to wait for the rest of the party to arrive.The host and hostess arrived and to their surprise when wanting to put name places on the table that they had booked weeks previous and had phoned last week just to confirm they were told they did'nt have the table although booked in the diary,that's not what you want to hear when all the arrangement had been confirmed a week previous,all sorted after a wait.We all sat down talking and ordered our starters but we waited and waited for them it took ages before they came,but the wait for our main course was even longer 45 mins and then they did'nt come out all together 2 of the party had finished eating before the last person was served with theirs which I do not think that acceptable as the restaurant was not full our table was booked for 7pm.The food was good but not worth the prices charged.We will not be eating their again and would not recommend it to our friends. The bad thing about it was the hostess has been seriously ill and did not want the problems that she experienced.. "

The only thing was a lack of diners in the restaurant but I expect as it was January its a quiet time of the year. They informed our table of future events like Burns Weekend and Valentines Events as well as a new Sunday Carvery at a really great price of £7.95 per person. I will return again very soon. A real gem on the outskirts of Swindon well worth a visit. "
