Kayla is a stunning contemporary Italian style brasserie and bar elegantly situated in the centre of Bournemouth.

Kayla is child friendly, welcomes families. The relaxing, comfortable interior creates a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere which gradually evolves as the day progresses.

As the lights go down, evening diners can enjoy great service and superb Italian food, while the after work crowd unwinds with a cocktail or glass of wine in the bar or the outside seating area.

If you like good Italian food, freshly prepared in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, at a price that won't break the bank, you need look no further than Holdenhurst Road, close to Bournemouth's Seafront and Town Centre.

You won't miss the bright orange umbrellas in the outside seating area!

Please note: A maximum of 2 cards will be accepted at Kayla Brasserie, allowing 4 people to dine per tastecard booking. Failure to book in advance and mention tastecard means that your tastecard will not be accepted. A Light bite menu is served at lunchtime therefore the discount is not available.

E said "Not one of tastecards best restaurants
Although we ordered from the normal menu at lunchtime we were still unable to use the discount, which I was surprised at as we did not order from the light bites menu. We felt that the food was overpriced for what it was and unfortunately we were on a very small table and did not have much room on the table for our food and drinks.

The staff were a little awkward and didn't feel completely comfortable.

Okay food but not one of the best restaurants I have visited. "

"We were visiting Bournemouth and found this restaurant on the tastecard search. I had not ever used the card before or visited the restaurant both of which were great experiences. The food was very well presented and tastey, the staff were very friendly and relaxed. If we lived in the area I would definitely return I was upset they weren't busier as it is a lovely find Karen "

"We found this offer from the tastecard search as we're on holiday in Bournemouth. The food was outstanding; very fresh, extremely tasty, generous portions, lovely atmosphere and friendly with children. We couldn't decide which dish was the best and we all had different meals! Fillet steak "lean" with superb sauce and delicious vegetables, Kayla chicken wrapped around goats cheese melted in the mouth as did the bacon in the carbonara which had creamy strong cheese sauce and the veal was divine. Also had starters, divine and generous portions and mussels were in a really tasty sauce. The bill was very reasonable with tastecard even with starters and drinks. Probably one of the nicest meals we've ever had and we do eat out a lot. Will definitely be returning and definitely recommend you try it for yourself. Nancy "

"I visited Bournemouth on a mid week break in June, and was happy to learn they had a few options under the tastecard scheme, this being one :) Kayla Brasserie is a very nice, contemporary and slick restaurant/bar. It's laid our more as a restaurant, but it was quiet season so I could imagine it being more lively at peak times of the year. I ordered the Calamari and Bruschetta to start, the Bruschetta was one of the nicest I've eaten (and I eat out a lot). The Calamari was also well cooked, and not the sort that is covered in crunchy batter, this was similar to what Pizza Express have started offering although the portion size at Kayla was much larger. I ordered the mixed seafood Risotto cooked in a white wine, cream & saffron sauce. Unfortunately I didn't find it as being very much a creamy dish, rather more Asian in colour, Indian in flavour, still did taste nice just not what I expected. It came with a very large serving of various seafood (no skimping here). I can't even remember what my partner ordered so no comments there.  We shared a bottle of Gallo Californian Zinfandel kept fresh on ice, happy about this as it's one of our favourite drinks. didn't eat desert as we were stuffed. Service was attentive, and we had a quick chat with the manager at the end who was very pleasant to deal with both on the phone when reserving and when clearing our bill. Bill came to £30 (take away the wine and it would have been £15) so a bargain. Junez   "
