The Feildens Arms has recently undergone a major refurbishment to return it to its former glory as a fantastic pub with a quality food offer. Customers will arrive to find a relaxed atmosphere with a great selection of food & drink and a warm welcome to ensure an enjoyable experience. The menu comprises of a selection of freshly prepared, local (wherever possible) traditional food with the emphasis on quality.
The menu features starters of Goosnargh chicken liver pate with a hint of garlic, served with red onion marmalade and warmed toast or pan fried Bury black pudding and potato salad topped with a soft poached egg. Mains on offer feature crisp potato topped traditional Lancashire hotpot with freshly pickled red cabbage or pan fried breast of free range chicken, dressed in aromatic white wine and tarragon sauce, served with a timbale of steamed Basmati rice and buttered greens.
If you’re looking for something a bit more traditional, the menu also boasts a selection of British classics including fish and chips and sausage and mash plus many more alongside a few vegetarian options.
Although The Feildens Arms pride themselves on their fantastic food offer they understand that customers don’t always wish to dine with them. The Feildens will very much retain its basis as a pub & therefore will always welcome guests who just want a drink, and they won’t be disappointed!
With their great range of cask ales, draught lagers & delicious wines it’s the perfect place to stop off for a quick one! Relax in their drinks lounge or comfortable bar area with your favourite tipple.
