Have eaten here twice. The most recent yesterday with my husband. It was as good as the first time so I'm going again this evening with a friend! As long as you ring first to make an app it's an ease free tastecard experience, unlike some other restaurants! I had the coronation chicken main dish which was as tasty as the first time, was cooked and hot. My husband had the rib eye steak and he said it was lovely and tender and the chips were fresh, hot and chunky! That said it's a hotel restaurant and fairly open plan so it's not as cosy as some other eateries but the quality of food makes up for that. A large glass of wine is between £6-7 and a pint of Guinness was £4. The waitress even offered a jug of water without us asking. One thing off putting last night was the room was a bit chilly but as soon as I mentioned it they increased the heating & it was lovely. Would definitely recommend this as a tastecard venue and even feel we would enjoy it at normal cost. "
