I didn't think I would ever taste a fillet steak as good as the corn-fed fillets from Goodman, but the fillet from Terrace blew it out of the water. It tasted amazing, and was cooked to perfection.
Overall a fantastic experience from start to finish. Polite and helpful staff, and great atmosphere, great food and a really good deal thanks to tastecard! A great place to eat on a Saturday evening. 10/10. "

"Nice venue and food was lovely - was slightly disappointed to see that there was no fois gras on the menu, only chicken liver parfait, however this was nice and steak for mains was perfect. The desserts are a miss though, underwhelming in comparison to the other course. 3 courses plus a bottle of wine came to £90 for two people - so a little expensive with the tastecard still!

But the real star was the guinea fowl with morel mushrooms and wild mushroom ravioli. Memorable. The intense flavour of the morels together with the wild mushroom cream sauce was truly gastrogasmic. The sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce was very good, especially for British steak, but we would highly recommend choosing one of their signature dishes such as the guinea fowl over any of their steaks. Le Relais de l'Entrecôte Genève they are not.
Terrace Restaurant earns 4.2 out of 5 multiples.

The restaurant is very posh and the food is absolutely wonderful, my main of Venison with a chocolate jus was delicious. It’s worth getting a side dish but you won't need one each.
The drinks are very expensive as you would expect and even with tastecard is distinctly in the 'treat' brand due to the prices, but very worth it for a special occasion.

Location was great and the place was not crowded. Hence great escape from the crowds on the streets.
Food was tasty (esp. the macaron) and service from staff was really good.
However, if you are looking for cakes, scones, sandwiches and tea served in pretty lovely chinaware, you might be disappointed. As they are served in ordinary stainless steel teapot and plates.
All in all, worth it only if you have the taste discount...

"Had a very nice dinner here on Friday night with some friends. The food was excellent and service was attentive yet we never felt rushed.
Nice easy going atmosphere and not pretentious at all. We slightly over did it on the wine front causing the bill to be fairly pricey but take the alcohol out of the equation and would happily return as the food certainly met our expectations!
P.S. Would highly recommend the Argentinean Malbec!!!

I've been to there twice. I spent some time to find the place the first time I came here, because it's on the second floor of a hotel.
It's so central, but not crowded at all, with elegant style, romantic atmosphere.
Foods here are delicate, and you got a free special mint tea from the chef when you dine here, staff are good.

I took my daughters to The Terrace for afternoon tea on Saturday and we had a wonderful time.
The food was delivered in the traditional style, on tiered trays, with small finger sandwiches, numerous cakes and scones with Jam and cream. The food was excellent, especially the chocolate mousse, which I could happily live on, and the surroundings were lovely.
The only thing that let it down was the service, which was a little slow at times, mainly due to a lack of staff. However, the price, at 50% off, made it extremely good value. I’d definitely recommend it as a way to escape the hustle and bustle of London shopping on a Saturday afternoon!

Must admit we were a bit wary as it is quite posh but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, very friendly and attentive.

When the food arrived it didn't look like much but you get a refill of your sandwiches and after that plus all those scones and cakes and tea it was pretty tasty and filling!
I would steer clear of the lemon curd tart though - v sickly sweet! Service was good although slightly inattentive at times considering the number of people there - we were left waiting a couple of times before we got someone's attention.
All-in-all though a nice experience and good deal with taste.

For the main dishes you need to order side dishes (I had pork, and the extra potatoes and veg were needed to accompany the dish) There is a condition with the taste card that you have to order a starter and a main to receive the 50% discount.

"I treated a visiting friend an afternoon tea at The Terrace as a welcome break to sightseeing. We felt very welcome, comfortable and looked after throughout . The surroundings were classic British, service efficient and understated, tea and scones were excellent. When I presented my taste Card, the waitress seemed pleased about it and we were able to confirm that we never would have found The Terrace if it wasn't for taste. We will certainly be back, July 10th actually, this time for lunch.
