This delightful, traditional inn just off the A287, is situated in an attractive, rural area on the edge of the picturesque village of Crondall. The idyllic location offers an antidote to modern living and an opportunity to relax and to be embraced by the cosy atmosphere.
The Horns combines a traditional English rural pub feel with that of a country dining room; offering unpretentious, locally sourced and homemade food.
Specialising in a range of homemade pies, quality “pub grub” and more esoteric offerings, The Horns is the ideal venue for a treat or family celebration.
Whilst food is a very important and integral part of what The Horns is all about, the hostelry still retains the old world charm and ambience associated with a traditional country pub.
As well as a lovely bar area and covers for 36 plus diners, The Horns offers an attractive patio for al fresco drinking and eating and also has an en suite letting room available.
Alongside the food, staff are proud to offer a range of real ales from the renowned Greene King Brewery in Suffolk, along with guest beers, lagers and spirits. The wine list has been developed with specialist wine merchants Matthew Clark and offers an interesting and well balanced range of reds, whites and roses.
Traditional pub activities such as a Thursday evening acoustic music night are also part of the programme in this “country inn of distinction”.

"We visited this country pub on a taste card night a couple of weeks ago - and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The menu is all about good quality homemade dishes, and does not disappoint at all. My husband thinks that they make the best pies ever! The welcome is warm and friendly and we will definitely be going back, whether it's a tastecard night or not!

"My wife and I visited this lovely pub on a Saturday night recently, the meal we both had was or the highest quality with excellent sized portions of good home cooked food, I had a chicken liver pate starter followed by chicken, mushroom and stilton pie with chips and a large bowl of veg, my wife had sweet chilli prawns followed by liver, bacon mashed potato and a bowl of veg. We cannot comment on the pudding selection as we were both too full from our starter and main course. We shall most certainly be returning and this time will opt for a main course and pudding. A lovely traditional village pub with good food and a lively atmosphere.....Thanks.

"This little country pub is a foodie gem, the portions are generous and you can taste and see from the quality that everything is homemade. The puddings are wonderful, no cheating packet stuff here, I had the apple and raisin crumble, and my partner went in for their banoffee pie which was not only decent in size, but presented beautifully. We went on a Thursday when they had local singers doing an acoustic set which added a very nicely to the atmosphere. The staff, especially the gentleman behind the bar were very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely return even on a non tastecard night, family, and couples alike would enjoy this venue!
