I've now made my second visit to the Albany restaurant, and have to say that I was equally impressed as the first.
I would especially like to thank Anel, Shesh and Shaquina for their warm and friendly welcome on what was a stormy night outside.
I was eating late in the evening, but they were still able to smile towards the end of their shift.
For starters, I followed Anel's recommendation and took the Asparagus and poached hens egg.The egg, and the Asparagus were both perfectly cooked, and very tastywith the Hollandaise sauce.
Main course was the seafood Fettucinne, with crab and mussels. This was also very tasty, naturally salty, and surprisingly filling.
to finish of, I took the chocolate and Baileys cheesecake. This sat on top of an espresso syrup, with some fresh brambles and berries, and was absolutely delicious.
I was eating alone as I was staying at the hotel on business, so was able to make full use of the 50% discount using my company provided tastecard. Without this discount, the meal would have been rather expensive, and made a saving of more than £12
