With the recent refurbishments, this 18th century Inn has been restored to its former glory as a traditional British pub.
The menu is inspired by traditional specialties, with a wide range of Lancashire food classics and all produce is sourced locally. They also have a selection of award winning cask ales, giving you the chance to embrace that little bit more British culture.

" I didn’t think 'The Strawbury' could get any better but last night a mate and I had a descent walk and arrived hungry and thirsty around 7.00pm.
A couple of pints of Lancaster Blonde and a delicious plateful of breast of duck with red cabbage and a generous portion of hand cut chips later we were more than happy.
There is a new menu which includes home-grown produce, log fires and a wood burner, a good selection of drinks and witty John, the Manager, set in idyllic countryside - perfect !
Will I be back? You bet!
