The Galphy Inn is a friendly pub and dining venue in the centre of picturesque Galphay, Ripon.
The pub interior is atmospheric; with plenty of rustic charm combined with smart, modern influences.
Hosts Gillian and Chris welcome customers old and new to the venue daily, to enjoy a relaxing drink with friends. The venue’s hand pulled real ales are kept in excellent condition, from their regular brews, to their “Guest” ale; which will vary according to season. They also stock specialist lagers and a good selection of wines from around the world.
However, it’s not just the drinks that will impress at The Galphay Inn; the pub boasts a fabulous food menu with satisfying and varied choices to suit all palates and appetites. To start, sample dishes include homemade smoked mackerel pate, Italian charcuterie board including a selection of Italian cured meats, olives and crusty broad and much more. While for main course, choices can include Grewelthorpe lamb chop or Steak and Masham pie with vegetables and chips with many more options available and not forgetting to leave room for one of the delicious desserts.
Wherever possible, the kitchen team use local produce, the meat comes from the local butchers and even the cheeses are mostly locally made.
