Couldn't fault anything, food and service were excellent, so went back the next night and it was just as good. The duck is particularly delicious. "

" Service was prompt and seating was nice apart from flies buzzing around. Took a while for my husband's pint to arrive, but that was okay. My husband ordered soup for Starters and asked if it came with a bread roll, when he was told they do not do bread rolls or crusty bread, my husband changed his order. I ordered the Special asparagus topped with an egg and crispy bacon, it was delivered with parma ham instead of bacon, when I queried this, they took the plate back and returned it with fried chunks of bacon; by this time my husband had finished his starter. The asparagus was rock hard and a stewed green colour, I could not eat it. For main we order rib-eyed steak for which there was a supplement of £3 although according to the online menu there was no supplement. The steak tasted and looked like Sirloin, no problem to start with then as a cut further into the steak (which, by the way, was cooked perfectly), it became inedible, chewy with sinew, so I did not eat it. I chose Opal Ridge Shiraz priced at £26.00+, in the supermarket this is about £7, quite a nice wine but what a mark up. The manager accepted my complaint but said as the meal was BOGOFree there was nothing he could do, I asked for the cost of the wine to be waived and he agreed to this. This is our second visit (the first was a few years back and much worse) and will definitely be the last. "
