tasteblog Resident Bloggers

 Meet our bloggers…

Claire Jasmine Taylor

Hi I’m Claire, resident food blogger for tastecard. I have the wonderful pleasure of sharing restaurant and food news with you all to help you on your quest for a better dining experience.

I’ve always had a vested interest in food. Particularly taking photos of the delightful cuisines I get to try out regularly. I LOVE cooking (Queen of macaroni cheese and Bacon muffins) and I can quite confidently say you’d be hard pressed to find a dish I won’t try.

Georgie Pursey

I’m Georgie. I love to write, explore, create ideas and spend money on beautiful and delicious things. My passion is food, and I love to educate people about incredible restaurants in London. I have been writing my own blog, Georgie Porgie Pudding & Pie for the last two years, and find myself gravitating towards diners that offer incredible juicy burgers, bars that create extraordinary cocktails and brasseries that know how to serve up an incredible brunch. I hope you enjoy reading my my posts, and keep returning to hear the recommendations I have for you about the foodie haven that is London. Happy indulging!

Sally Priestley

Hi, Sally here, northern representative for tasteblog and here to put forward the evidence that there is fine food, and great restaurants, to be had north of the Watford Gap. I once ran a fully-catered skiing chalet – and perfected the art of prepping, cooking and serving a three-course meal for eight in under two hours; I count baking as my favourite rainy-day activity; and after backpacking – and eating – my way around the world, I decided Thai food would be my desert-island cuisine every time. I have no idea if this qualifies me to tell you what to eat and where to eat it, but I’m going to give it my very best shot.

SammijoHi I’m Sammijo. Having worked in marketing and communications for years covering restaurants, bars and hotels, I have always had a love of food, drink and what is happening in the hospitality scene in London and beyond. Recently, I started my own blog, Cook & Pour, as friends were always asking me for suggestions on where to go for the best burger, a refreshing cocktail or just some activity with a difference. As well as writing, I am a keen cook, tapping mostly into anything rich in flavour and spice. From a slow cooked homemade chicken curry to an indulgent potato dauphinoise, my friends always seem to suggest a dinner party, which inevitably happens at my pad for some reason. My favourite cuisine is Caribbean, but as a foodie, I am open to delights from every corner of the food planet. Enjoy the posts, as I hope my experiences will be your tastecard guide.
