Our fantastic app gives you access to thousands of restaurants on the move and access to a digital membership card. The apps are available to download for FREE from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store!

Arrow How do I find the app on my iPad?

We currently do not have an iPad App, however you are able to download the iPhone App directly from the App Store / iTunes by searching for tastecard and choosing iPhone only.

Arrow Why can't I locate the app to download from Google Play?

If you are unable to download the app on the Google Play store, this means your current handset is supporting an older version of the OS [operating system]. Our app has been designed for Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) and above, currently Android is now running 5.0 (Lollipop).

Arrow How do I join tastecard?

To access a digital membership you will need to register for one of our membership offers, select 'Sign up and save today' to see our membership options.

Arrow I am a tastecard member, how do I access my digital membership?

To access your digital card: Select the 'MyCard' option when you open the app > tap 'Activate My Card'. You will be asked to provide your name and membership number. The app will then search our system to see if you have previously created a digital or tastecard+ account.

If you have not created a digital card account, you will need to register your email address and create a password or login through a social network site. The login details you choose to register on the app can also be used to access our exclusive members' only offers if you upgrade your account to tastecard+.

If you have previously created an account, you will need to log in using the details you used when you created your account; this could be an email and password or a social login.

Arrow Does the password have character requirements?

Our tastecard apps and tastecard+ requires an eight character password that can be a mix of the following:
  • must contain at least 1 uppercase letter: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
  • must contain at least 1 lowercase letter: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
  • must contain at least 1 number or symbol that can be a mix of the following:

Arrow The app says my tastecard account is already registered, how do I find my login details?

If you have forgotten your password, simply reset it through the app, and you will be sent a reset password email to your registered email address.

If you do not receive the reset password email, this could mean that you logged in through a social networking site or that the email address inputted on registration was incorrect. Please email providing the following information:
  1. Your full name as it appears on your tastecard
  2. Your membership number as shown on your tastecard
  3. The email address you would like to use to register your account

Arrow How do I add my new membership number to my existing digital account?

To add your new membership before your current card expires, please visit 'Manage account' in the app side bar. You will be asked to enter your name and the new membership number, this will be then synced to your digital account.

Arrow I received my tastecard membership as a benefit through Natwest or RBS. Why won't the app accept my membership details?

For data protection purposes Natwest and RBS do not pass on the details of customers who have received tastecard memberships as a benefit of their bank accounts without express permission of the customer. If you received your tastecard from Natwest or RBS and your membership number is not recognised by the mobile app, please email providing the following information:
  1. Your full name as it appears on your tastecard
  2. Your membership number as shown on your tastecard
  3. Your membership expiry date as shown on your tastecard
  4. The email address you would like to use to register your account

Arrow My tastecard membership has the prefix RPC, NTM, TLR, CFT or CPM. Why won't the app accept my membership details?

When registering or logging into the app, please enter the full membership number including the prefix (this must be in full with no spaces).

If you experience difficulties in creating an account and your membership number has any of the above prefixes, please contact our Customer Service Team on 0800 56 77 241, or email us at and we will look into this further for you.

Arrow How do I locate a restaurant and find their information?

To get started browsing your nearest restaurants simply tap 'Near Me' and you can swipe down to scroll through the closest restaurants to your location.

Note: It's important if you are using the 'Near Me' search to have the GPS switched on in your phone settings as some devices will not have this on automatically.

If you want to search for something more specific then go to the 'Search' section. This will allow you to search by location or search by restaurant name.
Search Filter Options:
  • Availability
  • Price
  • Cuisines
  • Number of Diners
  • Offer type

You may also refine the search results by nearest, alphabetical or rating.

To view a venue just tap on the restaurant and you'll be brought to their individual page. Here is where all the venue details including restaurant information, gallery, contact details and reviews are held.

Arrow How do I use my digital card?

To claim your discount when dining out; click the 'Use Card' on the restaurant you are dining in. Your live digital card will appear with the name of the restaurant, live date/time stamp, your full name, membership number and expiry date.

Arrow How do I record a saving?

Once you confirm your live digital membership card you will be able to enter your bill details, original price and discount amount. This will automatically be added to your 'Savings' and on to your 'Activity'. This will accumulate your savings throughout the year.

Note: All Free trial and corporate members must leave a saving. If you tap 'Use card' by mistake, this can be removed in your savings section.

Arrow What is tastecard+ and how do I upgrade?

tastecard+ offers hundreds of exclusive member only discount offers, competitions and giveaways to help you save money on even more than just dining out! We have everything from discounted hotels; theatre offers; special dining discounts at Michelin Star and AA Rosette restaurants, to reduced price days out, discounted cinema tickets or competitions giving you the chance to win fantastic holidays!

If you're already a tastecard member but you're unable to gain access to tastecard+ offers and discounts, simply upgrade your existing tastecard membership to a tastecard+ membership on our website.

Arrow Can I use the app without WIFI or cellular connection?

Our app has an offline mode; this will allow you to make an advanced search and use your digital membership card only.

Arrow Can a tastecard membership be registered to more than one mobile device?


You are allowed to change your device up to three times on a thirty day period.

This is to protect your membership and ensure that only you have access to your tastecard account and Digital Card.

Arrow I am receiving errors on the app, how can I resolve this?
