A fantastic hotel found on York’s Station Lane, just off the A19 and within easy access of such iconic attractions as the York Castle Museum and the National Railway Museum, The Sidings Hotel offers up a wondrous spot for some rest and recuperation in the historic city.
The venue was founded in 1985 by an ex-railwayman that had a passion for all things trains and is built around five Pullman style railway carriages, adding a sense of intrigue to an already delightful establishment.
Any sense of relaxation at The Sidings Hotel is certainly present in its on-site lounge & bar, which invites overnight guests and hungry visitors to sample some exquisite food and drink, serving to provide a casual alternative to many of the surrounding York restaurants.
All visits are to be made all the more enticing for tastecard members too, as they are able to enjoy all of the flavoursome fare as they incur fantastic restaurant discounts, which can only enhance the meal for all involved.
Please Note: You must book in advance and mention the tastecard to be entitled to the tastecard restaurant discounts. The tastecard restaurant discounts are not available on bank holidays. Sundays are also unavailable as no a la carte menu is served.
