A wonderfully relaxing spot to eat out in London on traditional, homemade British fare, is Byward. The venue can be found just a stone’s throw away from such reputable attractions as the Tower of London, the Monument to the Great Fire of London and the banks of the River Thames, meaning that it’s ideally located for anyone in search of some respite amidst a day of exploration.
The atmosphere at Byward is down in no small part to the friendly service team, who work hard with an enthusiastic group of chefs to provide an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. They use on the finest and freshest ingredients in each of their dishes, with the likes of a scrumptious fish & chips combo, a flavoursome honey-roast smoked ham number and a delectable linguine pasta being just three examples of the delicacies that help to make it one of the best London restaurants for lovers of the British cuisine.
Few, too, will find more joy when dining out in London than tastecard members at Bywards, as they can incur some marvelous London restaurant deals when they call in advance and dine with their card. Be it for a small family gathering, a catch up with some old friends or a pleasant afternoon out with the significant other, the warmest of welcomes are extended to one and all.

Based upon feedback from our members we have decided to implement a review facility on the tastecard website. This is a great opportunity for members to share their experiences, both good and bad, with other members. We believe that this is also a fantastic opportunity for our restaurants to assess feedback, and if necessary make improvements and take feedback on-board. Previously, if members wished to review a restaurant they were likely to visit another website to do so. This may have meant that the reviews were less accessible to yourselves, as restaurateurs, and thus you would have been less likely to act upon the review, be it good or bad. By offering the review service on our site we believe that restaurants will benefit from having feedback from our members in one place.
If you object to a review on our site, we will remove it. However, our research has indicated that members are far more likely to visit a restaurant if there are a number of balanced reviews than if all reviews are positive. Please bear this in mind when reading the reviews; if a restaurant only has great reviews then our members are far less likely to trust the reviews and thus are likely to dine elsewhere.
For clarification on any of the above please email restaurantteam@tastecard.co.uk
