The Indus Restaurant group is a fantastic group situated in Sheffield. Situated on Attercliffe Road and Sheffield Road (and both offering the tastecard discount!), the concept of these venues is to bring the culinary wonders of the Indian continent to sunny Yorkshire.

Using an array of herbs, spices, and the best cuts of meat, mouth-watering meals are created that bring many customers back time and time again.

The friendly, helpful members of staff are always at hand to assist you in any way possible, and are attentive – without being over bearing.

  • " Lovely environment once through the double doors, very small area with both doors opening into the same space.Entertaining watching people get confused pushing the second door instead of pulling it shouting through the doors are you closed, then sending other person back out. Bit like being in a turnstile.
    Service was extremly slow. Had to ask to place order. Had to ask for pickle tray. Had to ask for alternative option with starter (we ordered mixed kebab starter and they had no seehk kebab) i think he was hoping we would just say forget it.
    The nan breads are shop bought, the pickle tray was poor, onions in ketchup mango chutney way very runny. My husbands rogan josh was very sweet tasting and covered in almonds which was a first.
    All in all the food was ok, edible but not an excuisite eat. Will try elsewhere. Glad we got taste card discount as i would have been very disappointed. "

The waiter did apologise for the delay of our food which was nice as we didn't say anything. Secondly my cutlery was slightly dirty but the waiter quickly changed it and apologised and lastly whilst having our desserts. My cheesecake was frozen in the middle and my partner found some paper in his dessert. The waiter kindly didn't charge us for our desserts and offered us a free dessert which we declined as we were stuffed, other than that our starters and mains were out of this world and we will definitely return as we weren't put off by the minor issues. The service was good one waiter in particular. Was difficult to get their attention at times and it wasn't too busy. Plz don't be put off. This restaurant did the best curry I've tasted in a long time and I'm a fussy eater. "
