One of a few of its kind, Sripur has now firmly established itself with a reputation for serving quality Indian food since 1995.

The restaurant has undergone a major improvement drive with change in the upper management. This positive change is reflected in the revamped menu created by the new chef that includes contemporary Indian cuisine alongside the exquisite traditional.

The Sripur decor provides uniquely stylish and comfortable surroundings, much loved for its open, airy and spacious arrangements. The ambience it creates compliments the food from a chef who's dedication and creativity is evident in all the dishes on offer.

    I went to this restaurant for lunch with my colleague. It was around 1pm and the restaurant was empty. Nonetheless, we sat down and ordered our food.

    The waiter was very rude to us. Personally, I think he did something to our food that made us ill. We hadn't even finished our starter and the rude waiter took it away from us because he said they had to make space for the main course. They weren't even busy so they could have waited!

    The main course arrived and it tasted off. I wanted to send it back but I was too embarrassed because it was a work lunch. So I persevered and ate it which was a big mistake.

    The next day two days I suffered from severe food poisoning and was off work for two days. Since that was the only food I attended before I fell ill, I am sure this meal was the cause.

    I would hate for this to happen to anyone else so please avoid this place. "

It was quiet for a Tuesday but I was provided with the ripped chair! Service was nonplussed probably due to their boredom or their dislike to honouring the Taste card. Meal was OK but nothing special. 1 meal chicken korma was lacking in flavour but swimming in oil. Presentation of the bill 15 pounds off with 10 service charge. For 2 paying adults!!!! Safe to say we weren't impressed. Sad as it looked promising. Best swerve this establish "
