" I dined at Tangia Restaurant on my 56th birthday. It was a very special day for me because I have invited a group a people who are eager to taste different dishes from all countries in the world. I had to choose Tangia restaurant in London Road, Tooting.
After reading a lot of reviews about this Moroccan restaurant, I was convinced to dine there because I am not that easy about eating a good quality food and drinking a good and vintage wine. From my experience as a maitre d' in one of the famous restaurants of Sir Terence Conman, I came to a conclusion about Tangia Restaurant.
We had a good evening there. The service was excellent, I can not fault it at all. The waitresses were very charming and polite, they made our evening a nice celebration for my birthday. We had five different starters because we wanted to taste everything about Moroccan food and Mediterranean cuisine, the starters were excellent.
They are not totally Moroccan but a mix between a Mediterranean and French cuisine which the most famous restaurants are known about their dishes. After we had a main course and again we chose five different main courses. We tried signature dishes like Moroccan couscous and tagines, they were served in nice sizzling tagine dishes and were delicious. We had a good quality wine with red wines which complemented our food, plus a Moroccan beer of course which I recommend every good diner to taste.
I had to give a five star review because we couldn't fault the service and the food at all because we are very fussy when it comes to food. By the way before I forget, we had also a good cheese platter with red wine that finished our evening with a good relaxation.
What a night. Thank you Tangia Restaurant.
