Situated in West Hampstead is Locanda 311, a fantastic eatery that offers a true taste of Italy. The relaxed, homely atmosphere and friendly attentive service at Locanda 311 means that a visit here promises a Haven from the busy West Hampstead streets.
The owners are aware of how massively diverse rustic Italian cooking is, and their passion for this cuisine is reflected in the menu. A wide collection of freshly prepared meals (all made using authentic ingredients) is available to you when you visit, and we encourage you to take your time when browsing the menu.
Starters include mozzarella in carrozza, which is deep fried breaded mozzarella with a spicy tomato sauce. There is the homemade lobster and brandy bisque, perfect for those who want to try something different. The mains is also full of choice, with the tasty risotto alla pascatora, cooked with clams, mussels, tiger prawns, and calamari in homemade fish stock. This dish is an old fisherman’s recipe and it certainly worth trying. For those trying to keep healthy, try the grilled vegetable salad, with aubergine, courgette, artichoke and sun blushed tomatoes, all freshly grilled, served on a large mixed salad.
The aim of the owners at Locanda 311 was to create an experience that showcased a true Italian restaurant, and they have gone to every effort to make this restaurant as authentic as possible. When in West Hampstead, make a booking! Perfect for large groups and celebrations!

Based upon feedback from our members we have decided to implement a review facility on the tastecard website. This is a great opportunity for members to share their experiences, both good and bad, with other members. We believe that this is also a fantastic opportunity for our restaurants to assess feedback, and if necessary make improvements and take feedback on-board. Previously, if members wished to review a restaurant they were likely to visit another website to do so. This may have meant that the reviews were less accessible to yourselves, as restaurateurs, and thus you would have been less likely to act upon the review, be it good or bad. By offering the review service on our site we believe that restaurants will benefit from having feedback from our members in one place.
If you object to a review on our site, we will remove it. However, our research has indicated that members are far more likely to visit a restaurant if there are a number of balanced reviews than if all reviews are positive. Please bear this in mind when reading the reviews; if a restaurant only has great reviews then our members are far less likely to trust the reviews and thus are likely to dine elsewhere.
For clarification on any of the above please email restaurantteam@tastecard.co.uk
