As I entered Indiana I approached the head member of staff and set my stall out straight away with the following statement - 'I know it goes without saying, but if you provide us with a really good meal then I will write you an excellent review'. Well, let's just say they were VERY unsuccessful.
Firstly, the portion sizes were VERY dissapointing. How many lamb chops do you reckon I received in my lamb chop starter? Four? Three? No no, the absolute bare minimum of two. The dish JUST qualifies for plural status. When questioned about this I was told that they didn't want to spoil the main by filling us up with too many starters....quite a unique response, wouldn't you agree?
Secondly, I was charged for popadoms and chutneys. Now I don't know about you, but I don't think I have EVER been charged for such items in an Indian restaurant before. When questioned regarding this issue I was told that ALL foods are itemised, unlike other restaurant....more bull #### from the staff....starting to see a pattern here?
Additionally, they screwed up the 50 percent off amount on the bill. You reckon I received the brunt of more BS when they were questioned about this issue? Yep you're right! These guys should win an award for being the brashest bull shiners on Salmon Lane. Maybe I'll write them up a certificate!
I know I'm being VERY facetious here, but please understand this is simply my chosen method of getting my point across without exhibiting just how angry I am about this meal. I left the restaurant in a very irritated state indeed.
I do NOT recommend this restaurant. Don't get me wrong, the quality of food was decent, they have a good chef, but this is overshadowed by a team of staff who are looking to cut corners in all ways possible.
