AQUAVITAE is a fantastic new restaurant and bar found in the regency spa town of Cheltenham, where the concept of sharing encourages a more social style of eating out. Serving a great selection of small plates and sharing menus, this chilled out and trendy bar and kitchen is certainly hitting all the right notes amongst Cheltenham locals. A great place for a meal out with friends, the cocktails are always flowing and the food just seems to get better and better as time passes by.
The menu makes good use of the local larder and locally sourced ingredients are a vital component of its design. Tasty flatbreads, delicious slider style burgers and a myriad of international flavours keep customers coming back for more. The Cotswold beef with double Gloucester cheese, dill pickle and mustard creme fraiche is a superb little dish whilst the chicken, roasted red pepper, avocado and parmesan flat bread is highly recommended by the kitchen. Mouth-watering skewers of beef teriyaki with coriander mayo or tacos filled with shredded pork, cabbage, avocado and Greek yoghurt are both big crowd pleasers whilst dark and white chocolate mousse is always a great way to round off a meal.
Contemporary design features such as exposed brick, huge banquette seating and modern lighting create the perfect look at AQUAVITAE and the hand painted image of a horse on one wall plays homage to Cheltenham’s famous racecourse.
Enjoy fine food, fantastic cocktails and a laid back ambience at the brilliant AQUVITAE in Cheltenham town centre.
