First established in 1994, Tamasha in Bromley has carved itself a place within the town’s culinary elite, with a host of regular clientele visiting the restaurant for their spice fix.

The word Tamasha is used in several Indian languages to mean a party, celebration or show involving great excitement: a name certainly befitting this vibrantly decorated venue.

With a menu every bit as colourful as the subcontinent it hails from, Tamasha has something to satisfy every member of the party. For a breath of fresh air from the usual Indian starters, diners can begin their meal with such treats as Dakshin Scallops, sautéed in garlic butter with spring onions, kokum and sweet and sour spices, chilli paneer in a tangy sauce, or Amaretto Crusted Lamb Chops cooked in the tandoori oven.

As for main courses, picky eaters and the spice-averse can enjoy a traditional korma, tikka or pasanda dish, whereas those looking for an authentic, and somewhat adventurous taste of India may opt for dishes such as the Murg Nasheela, a chicken masala infused with rum, coriander and ginger, or the Khyber Pass Raan, a royal delicacy in the form of a lamb shank marinated in red wine, garlic and spices. For seafood lovers, there’s the whole lobster Tawa masala, alongside half a dozen delectable vegetarian dishes. Served in the Tamasha Bar’s colourful surroundings, amidst resplendent decoration by energetic staff, your Indian meal is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Regardless of whether you’re spending the night, Tamasha Hotel now invites tastecard members to enjoy Indian hospitality at its fullest and finest in their bar, with unbeatable discounts on their innovative Indian cuisine.
