Situated in the centre of Ashton-in-Makerfield is the spice filled Bengal Curry Pot, an excellent Indian eatery that focuses on dishes made with only the freshest seasonal ingredients.
Sticking to this ethos, the talented chefs at Bengal Curry Pot have developed a creative menu showcasing their many skills and culinary flairs.
Inviting guests in with open arms and a wide smile, the exemplary service diners will receive whilst indulging in delicious dishes sets Bengal Curry Pot apart from the rest of the Ashton-in-Makerfield dining scene.
Begin with some tantalising starters, consisting of veggie friendly, seafaring tasters and meat orientated morsels. Particularly delectable appetisers include the scrumptious garlic mushroom puri, the spicy Bengali Fish and the enticing Exotic Duck Special, a duck breast marinated in yogurt and garnished with green chillies and coriander.
Try something different with one of the Curry Pot Specialties, featuring a diverse array of alluring dishes such as the tempting Balti Bangla Sizzler, a choice of chicken or lamb cooked in a medium heated Balti sauce and presented on a sizzling plate, the rich Roshun Merchi Duck, prepared with roasted garlic, red chillies and an ensemble of Bangladeshi spices, and the fiery King Prawn Gujrat, served with onions, peppers and a hot sweet and sour sauce.
A wealth of classics also adorn the menu, such as a plethora of masala and biryani dishes, as well as the odd English favourite, like whole tail scampi and an assortment of omelettes, for those who are averse to all things spicy. There’s also a special children’s menu, just in case the kids can’t stand the heat.
Whatever the choice of meal, diners are sure to enjoy their time at Bengal Curry Pot.
