A fabulous little eatery that can be found on Queen Street in the Redcar district of Cleveland, Rock N Roll is the epitome of a 1950’s style American diner.
With red leather booths, a free juke box in the corner, and walls adorned with old vinyl records, visitors will be forgiven for thinking that they’ve took a time machine across the pond.
All of the dishes adorning the a la carte menu are available to tastecard members at a superb discount when they call in advance with their card – and despite the theme of the venue, the fare served goes far beyond that typically seen in American restaurant. Particularly enticing examples of the food supplied include starters such as the loaded with Love potato skins filled with mozzarella and bacon, and the American style chicken wings, and main courses like the red devil burger, a succulent 6oz burger topped with bacon, chicken and the customer’s choice of salsa or sweet chilli sauce, the delicious slow cooked lamb, coated in rosemary and mint, and the gluten free vegetarian delight that is the homemade macaroni cheese.
Sat a mere stone’s throw away from the coast and just a short drive away from the wonders of the North York Moors National Park, the venue is wonderfully located for those looking for a bit of respite and a sumptuous feast before, during or after a day of exploration. Be it for a casual meal with the significant other or a catch up with a close friend, all are catered for at Rock N Roll Diner.
Please note: You must book in advance to be entitled to the discount.
