Begin the experience with one of the superb starters, such as the tantalising Polpo alla Palermitana, steamed octopus presented on a bed of dattertini tomatoes, capers and olives, the scrumptious Polpette di Melanzane, aubergine balls paired with a celery pesto, and the hearty Scamorza alla Piastra, grilled smoked cheese partnered with Sicilian style mixed vegetables.
A cornucopia of classic pizza and pasta dishes adorn the menu, as is to be expected from an Italian restaurant, yet there are also some truly irresistible main courses also available that showcase some of the lesser known delights from the cuisine. Particularly merit worthy meals include the eclectic Guazzetto di Pesce, a mixed fish stew complete with chickpeas and broad beans, and the heavenly Coniglio con Lenticchie, oven baked rabbit with smoked cheese and slow cooked lentils.
