2 for 1 at Eighteen 57 Restaurant at DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort

Sat on Ermine Street in the North Lincolnshire market town of Brigg, amidst 190 acres of idyllic woodland, the Forest Pines Hotel makes for quite the setting to enjoy a spot of rest and relaxation.

The venue is home to a number of fabulous services, including a tranquil indoor pool and spa area, a fantastic golf course, and an exquisite AA Rosette awarded restaurant, which now accepts tastecard members who call in advance to enjoy all of the sumptuous fare served on the a la carte menu at a superb price.

Hotel guests and hungry gourmets alike are offered a warm welcome at the Eighteen57 Restaurant at the Forest Pines Hotel, where both classic and contemporary options are available and are created using only the freshest of seasonal ingredients. Beginning with the exquisite appetisers, where a glorious collection of pan seared scallops can be found alongside a flavoursome Asian-spiced butternut squash and sweet potato soup, diners are sure to be delighted from the very first bite.

Next up, the main courses are just as divine and leave very little to be desired, with a fine ensemble of dishes on show that promise to meet the needs of any appetite. Particularly enticing examples of such can be seen in the scrumptious honey-glazed Gressingham duck breast, served with celeriac puree, wild mushrooms, pak choi and fondant potatoes, the delectable cardamom crusted roast cod, paired with sautéed potatoes, and the delectable open wild mushroom lasagne, which comes complete with horseradish & dill crème fraiche and baby vegetables.

Considering the wonderful savings, visitors are encouraged to conclude the feast in style with one of the heavenly desserts, such as the rich dark chocolate fondant or the sharp baked lemon tart, before dipping into the pocket in the enjoyment of a tipple or two from the bar.
