A delightful Indian restaurant that pride themselves on providing a wealth of tantalising Indian flavours in warm and welcoming surroundings, Shezzaan’s invites one and all to sample all that they have to offer.
This is extended to those boasting a tastecard membership, as the diners' club entitles all of such to enjoy all of the dishes found on the restaurant menu at Shezzaan’s at a superb price when they call in advance and produce their card upon arrival.
This allows for the perfect excuse to sample more than the one course, a notion that becomes particularly apparent when looking over a starters selection that includes a flavoursome Indian cheese based paneer tikka, a sumptuous masala fish and a delectable collection of marinated lamb chops.
Next up, the mouth-watering mains at Shezzaan’s leave very little to be desired, with a host of old favourites, such as the tantalising rogan josh and the fiery vindaloo, joining a host of chef specialties in an assortment of plates fit for any palate and appetite. Particularly enticing examples of the latter can be seen in the karahi chicken, which is cooked over charcoal and roasted with ginger, tomatoes and fresh coriander and the king prawn special, prepared in a subtle sauce with various herbs and spices.
Giving visitors the chance to bring their own bottle and supplying free corkage, Shezzaan’s makes for a fine spot from which to enjoy a small celebration. Whether it's for a casual family gathering, a catch up with some old friends or an intimate evening out with the significant other, all are afforded a warm welcome.
Please Note: The restaurant currently has no card machine, so only cash will be accepted. There is also a corkage fee of £1 charged at the restaurant.
